The 1st Batch75 Sipilyo Championship 2018

February 17, 2018. An angel sent by God (ayaw daw nya magpakilala) donated these Colgate brand items for the "1st Batch75 Sipilyo Championship 2018".
Rodney provided the prizes (Cloud 9) for the champion down to the kulelat.

But before the competitions, the children must eat first.

We started with the traditional washing of hand, as usual, lead by Clarita.
Don't be mistaken. This is not a gold panning activity. Wala pa kasing nakapag-donate ng sabon at towel kaya ganito ang nakikita nyo.
The children then waited quietly at their seats with Rodney and Jacinto at the back.
Cora was the photographer here. She took this picture with her favorite models - Clarita, Alex, Rodney and Mariet.
Half of the children were taken with half of me.
Before eating. . . a prayer. . .
"Dear God, patnubayan at gabayan nyo po ang mga donors at volunteers."
"Bigyan nyo po sila ng madaming blessings."
"Wag nyo po silang pababayaan. Amen."
The serving of food started. . .
"Wow! Amoy pa lang masarap na."
"Sinigang na Baboy ang ulam nila."
Hindi magkasya yung pagkain sa armchairs but they were good in balancing. Cora was serving to them some white mashmallow. First time lang daw nila makakita at makatikim ng white marshmallow kasi colored lang daw ang alam nilang marshmallow.

Mariet doing the service.
Cora: Bakit may umiiyak dyan?
Cora: Ay! Nasinit pala yung bata. Palamigin muna ang napudot nga sabaw.

Busog na.

Handa na sila sa "1st Batch75 Sipilyo Championship 2018". Rodney was giving to them their weapons of choice (actually, they have no choice).

... and the "1st Batch 75 Sipilyo Championship 2018" started at 1:00 pm. Yehey! Sigawan! Palakpakan!

"Itupram tu met laeng dayta nga kasla moma.
"Teka, bakit wala akong naitupra? Nalunok ko ata?"
AWARDING CEREMONY:
Ha? Walang awarding? Nakain na pala nila yung Cloud 9. All winners na sila.

Pre-Valentine's Day Batch 75 Feeding Program

2018 Feb 10, Lucnab, Baguio City.

Part 1: Community Feeding Program

The community feeding program started at 11:00 with the ceremonial washing of hands initiated by Clarita Sampang.
Fried chickens, fresh fruits, plenty of soup and rice were at the table for children to eat.
These fresh apples, oranges and bananas were from Gie Samson; rice and sweets from Relox Corazon Solomon; Fried chickens, soup and papayas from Luther Garcia.
The children enjoyed eating these highly nutritious food that Batch 75 prepared.
Sweets . . .
. . . and fruits were finally served to the children.

Part 2: Clarita's Birthday Part 2

The second part of the program was the 2nd birthday celebration of Clarita Sampang. She prepared pancit, potato salad and sandwiches. Joan Tan brought plenty of Ice Cream for our dessert.

Celebrating with Clarita on her birthday were Mariet Javier, Joan Tan, Rodney Oliganga, Relox Corazon Solomon, Alex Valdez, Gie Samson and the barangay volunteers.

Part 3: SM Baguio with Jun Vallejo

After the Feeding Program and the extended Birthday Party of Clarita, we went to SM Shakey's to meet Jun Vallejo. The Shakey's flavor of the month, the "One Heart Pizza", served as a symbolic representation of our commitment for the noble cause.

Before leaving Shakey's, Jun Vallejo shared his blessing for the children by giving an amount to the Batch 75 Community Feeding Program c/o Mariet.

FINAL WORDS.

Today's activities added memorable experiences that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Having time with those children is something that every member of Batch 75 should experience.

Please join us. Let's continue this noble cause.
